BuildingSmartSoftware, Inc. is owned by Howard McKew, P.E., CPE and was created by him to share more than 45-years of diverse experience with others in the building industry through the publication and sale of electronic documents, checklists and software for the design engineer, commissioning engineer, TAB engineer, trade contractors, and facility engineers.

Howard McKew is an ASHRAE Fellow and the recipient of the ASHRAE George B. Hightower Award for Technical Achievement.  He is also a member of the ASHRAE Handbook Strategic Planning Committee, as well as corresponding member for Large Building Air-Conditioning and HVAC Security technical committees.
